Collection: Alexandra Moore-Gibson
Alex Moore-Gibson is an abstract, impressionist artist working primarily with acrylic paints and oil pastels. Her artwork is a result of an insatiable need to create and is informed by the beauty found in nature and in her everyday life. Emotions, physical surroundings, memories and the subconscious inform and guide her practice; allowing her to explore the world through her unique, creative lens.
Alex is passionate about intentional living and strives to create work that will elevate her collectors' life and home. She believes in prioritizing what is most important in life, which she applies to her creative process, the supplies she consumes, and can be seen in the overall themes within her work.
Alex lives in Hamilton, Ontario, with her two little boys, a neurotic but sweet dog, and her wonderfully supportive, Scottish husband. They live in a beautiful neighbourhood filled with trees and friendly neighbours. She is a breast cancer survivor, a SLOW living enthusiast, and a country-mouse at heart.
