Collection: Edwin Gothard

(1914-2006)

Gothard was an artist residing in Brantford, Ontario. Both a collector and painter, he painted mostly natural scenes around him. His summer home was on Georgian Bay and he was acquainted with the famous Thomson family. It is known that Gothard would go sketching with George Thomson since their residence was in Leith near Owen Sound.
